Findafurry
does not vet advertisers, although we will never knowingly
advertise commercial or unethical breeders.
Advertisers
are required to sign up to the Findfurry
Code as a pledge of their good animal care and
we rely on feedback from people responding to their
adverts to inform us if the code is being broken.
When responding to an advert feel free to ask the
advertiser questions about their animals and how they're
kept - a good owner should be happy to answer. Expect
them to ask you questions in return.
Findafurry
is run by a small group of people who are all animal
lovers and believe passionately that there has got
to be a sustainable solution to the ongoing crisis
in animal welfare.
We hope
that Findafurry helps to take pets out of the profit
business and contributes to a world where animals
are seen as more than commodities and treated with
respect and care.
